The Minnesota Wild’s post season ended quickly and with not much push back as they were shut out by the Jets 5-0 Friday night in Winnipeg. With the victory, Winnipeg wins the series 4-1 ending Minnesota’s season.
The shut out marked the second straight game that the Wild were held scoreless after being shut out 2-0 Tuesday night in St. Paul. It also marks the second straight season that Minnesota was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs after having made the post season for the sixth straight year. Minnesota once again played without Zach Parise who was injured in game three with a fractured sternum.
