Wild announce home opener

The National Hockey League today announced the home openers for each club. The Wild will open the 2015-16 campaign at Colorado on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. CT and host the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. CT. The complete 2015-16 NHL schedule will be released Thursday morning.

The NHL Awards Show airs tonight starting at 6 p.m. CT on NBCSN. Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk is a finalist for the Vezina Trophy (top goaltender) and the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy (perseverance and dedication to hockey). Jordyn Leopold will announce the GM of the Year Award and her letter to Columbus GM Jarmo Kekalainen is a finalist for the social media event of year that will be voted on during tonight’s Awards Show.
