The Minnesota Vikings pulled the pin on rookie kicker Daniel Carlson Monday afternoon after the rookie kicker missed all three of his field goal attempts in Sunday’s 29-29 tie with Green Bay. The last of his misses was a 35 yard attempt that went wide right as time expired and would have won the game. The Vikings have signed former Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey to replace Carlson. Bailey, who is an 8 year veteran, was cut by the Cowboys at the end of the pre-season in a cost-cutting measure.
