Vikings lose 20-3 in mistake-filled opener in San Francisco

The mistake prone Minnesota Vikings were held to 71 yards on the ground  and no touchdowns while giving up 230 rushing yards to the 49ers in a disasterous 20-3 opening night loss.  Adrian Peterson made his first appearance in purple in over a year and rushed for just 31 yards on 10 carries.
