Twins recall Tyler Duffey from Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Tyler Duffey from Triple-A Rochester.
Duffey, 27, began the season with Triple-A Rochester making four relief appearances, tossing 11.0 innings without allowing an earned run (2 runs) while walking one and striking out 14. In 92 appearances (36 starts) over three major league seasons, Duffey has a record of 16-16 with a 5.29 ERA (71.0 IP, 39 ER).
Duffey will take the roster spot of Alan Busenitz who was optioned to Rochester last night.
