Twins recall Mejia from AAA Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced that they will recall left-handed pitcherAdalberto Mejía from Triple-A Rochester. Mejía, who will start today (Saturday) vs. Tampa Bay, has made four starts for the Twins this season, going 1-1 with a 4.96 ERA (16.1 IP, 9 ER), 10 walks and 13 strikeouts.
To make room for Mejía on the 25-man roster, the Twins have designated left-handed pitcher Adam Wilk for release or assignment. Wilk, who was claimed off waivers from the New York Mets on May 10, made three appearances for the Twins.
