Twins Option Gibson to AAA Rochester

Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned right-handed pitcher Kyle Gibson to Triple-A Rochester.  In six starts for the Twins this season, he went 0-4 with an 8.20 ERA (26.1 IP, 24 ER), 13 walks and 16 strikeouts.

To replace Gibson on the 25-man roster, the Twins will make a corresponding roster move prior totomorrow night’s game vs. Boston.
