Minnesota Score Radio to broadcast Concordia-St.Paul Golden Bears football on AM 1440 Saturday

Minneapolis, MN (October 31, 2019) Minnesota Score Radio announced today that they will be broadcasting this Saturday’s (Nov 2) NSIC Division Two football game between Concordia University-St. Paul and Augustana from Sioux Falls, South Dakota on AM 1440-KYCR Radio in the Twin Cities.
The game features two of the top teams in the NSIC South Division, both at 3-and-1 and tied for second in divisional play behind unbeaten Minnesota State-Mankato. Concordia is 5-and-3 overall coming off of a thrilling 24-23 overtime win over Bemidji State last Saturday, while Augustana is 6-and-2 overall.
The game will be broadcast by veteran play-by-play announcer Wally Langfellow, who also co-hosts the Golden Bears “Coaches Show” with Concordia head coach Shannon Currier. The Coaches Show airs on Friday evenings on AM 1440 following Minnesota Score’s high school football Game of the Week broadcasts. Langfellow has been broadcasting high school football in the Twin Cities for the past 25 years including Prep Bowl broadcasts on Fox 9 and the Fox Sports Prep Zone.
Blake Sorem will be handling color commentary on the broadcast. Sorem, who is a former offensive coordinator at Edina High School and played his high school football under legendary coach Mike Grant at Eden Prairie, has also worked several Prep Bowls on the radio and Fox Sports Prep Zone broadcasts with Langfellow.
