Game Three: Wolves Dump Rockets 121-105; narrow series to 2-1

For the first time in 14 years there was playoff basketball at Target Center Saturday night. And for the first time since May 29, 2004 when the Wolves beat the Lakers in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, the Wolves won a playoff game.
Jimmy Butler poured in 28 points to lead a balanced attack as Minnesota ran
roughshod over the NBA’s best team this season, the Houston Rockets 121-105.

The Rockets now lead the series two games to one.
“Our mentality was great” said Wolves guard Jamal Crawford.
“Everybody played with a lot more energ
y and we tried to limit our turnovers” said Taj Gibson.
Jeff Teague chipped in 23, Andrew Wiggins 20 and Karl Anthony Towns added 18 points and 16 rebounds. James Harden led Houston with 29. Game 4 is Monday at Target Center before the series resumes in Houston on Wednesday.
