Cretin-DH gets #1 seed in Boys 4A Hoops tourney

Cretin Derham Hall earned the number one seed in this year’s Class 4A Boys State Basketball Tournament, and will open up against unseeded Wayzata on Wednesday at 10am at Target Center.

Wayzata advanced to State for the second straight year after upsetting top ranked Hopkins in the Section 6 Championship game.

Here is the rest of the opening day schedule for 4A and the seedings: (all games at Target Center)

10am  #1 Cretin Derham Hall vs Wayzata

Noon  #4 Eden Prairie vs #5 Osseo

2pm   #2 Apple Valley vs Forest Lake

4pm  #3 Lakeville North vs Maple Grove

The semifinals are Thursday evening at 6pm and 8pm and the championship is Saturday at 8pm
