Coon Rapids-Andover team loses second game at Little League World Series

After posting an impressive 2-1 victory in their opening game of the Little League World Series, the Minnesota team from Coon Rapids-Andover American Little League took one on the chin today, losing 11-0 in four innings to a team from South Riding, Virginia.
The Virginia team representing the Southeast Region, became just the second U.S. team ever to post back to back no-hitters in their first two games of the World Series. Justin Lee pitched all four innings in recording the no-hit shut out victory for Virginia.
Next up for Coon Rapids-Andover is an elimination losers bracket game on Monday against the Southwest team from Ridge River, Louisiana. Gametime is 7pm central and will be televised on ESPN2.
