#2 St.Cloud State upends North Dakota

Second ranked St. Cloud State got two goals from Mikey Eyssimont and goaltender David Hrenak stopped 34 out of 35 shots as the Huskies beat #5 North Dakota 3-1 at the Herb Brooks National Ice Center in St. Cloud Saturday night.
The Huskies jumped on top early in the 2nd period (2:09) on Robby Jackson’s 6th goal of the year. Eyssimont got his goals one minute apart in the 2nd at 7:33 and 8:33 of the period to extend the lead to 3-0.
With the win St.Cloud takes over first place in the NCHC at 7-2-1, running their overall record to 12-2-1. The Huskies are off until December 29 and 30 at Princeton.
