Robbinsdale 1 win from Little League World Series

Tyler Ockuly allowed just 1 hit and struck out 11 as Robbinsdale's Little Leaguers earned a berth in the Midwest Region Finals by beating South Dakota Friday night (Aug 6) 4-0 in Indianapolis. Robbinsdale will now play on Sunday night (Aug 8) against either Iowa or Missouri for the right to go to the Little League World Series.

Ockuly, who won all three of his starts in the tournament, allowed only a lead off single in the 6th inning. Robbinsdale got all 4 of their runs in the 2nd. A bases loaded walk to David Bajari brought home the first run. The next hitter Philip Fanjul then doubled to left and three runs scored on the play to make it 4-0 Robbinsdale. This is the first Robbinsdale team to ever advance to the Midwest Regions.
