Lindsay Whalen returns to Minnesota
Less than 4 months after leading the University of Minnesota's women's basketball team to its first-ever Final Four, star guard Lindsay Whalen was back in Minnesota playing basketball again (Wednesday July 14). This time as a member of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun, Whalen scored a season high 18 points in her team's 66-63 loss to the Minnesota Lynx. Whalen's one and only appearance at Target Center this year drew a Lynx record crowd of 16, 227.
