For the second straight year Fira Sultanova-Zhdanova of Russia was the ladies winner at Grandma's Marathon, finishing the race in 2 hours, 35 minutes, 8 seconds. The race was run Saturday June 19 in Duluth. The top American finisher among the women was Jenna Boren of Minneapolis who came across some 15 minutes later at 2:50:11. The winner on the men's side was Vladimir Tsiamchyk of Belarus. He ran the race in 2 hours, 17 minutes and 59 seconds. Minnesota native and former Team USA Minnesota runner Chris Lundstrom, finished 16th overall in the men's marathon, in 2:29:51. Right behind Lundstrom at 2:30:03, was Dimitri Drekonja of Minneapolis.
