Wolves survive Game 5 vs L.A.
The one-two punch of Kevin Garnett and Latrell Sprewell kept the Timberwolves alive in the NBA's Western conference Finals as they knocked off the Lakers 98-96 Saturday May 29 at Target Center. After a slow start, the Wolves went on a run late in the first half that gave them a 6-point halftime lead.
