Timberwolves Win Game 5
With Sam Cassell suffering from back spasms, Latrell Sprewell made his mark in Game 5 at Target Center as he exploded for 34 points to lead Minnesota to a 86-74 win and a 3-2 lead in the series. Kevin Garnett added 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the Wolves' victory. Mark Madsen came off the bench to grab 13 rebounds for the Wolves who held Sacramento to a miserable 33 percent shooting from the field. Cassell totaled just 3 points in 31 minutes of play for Minnesota. The Kings came back to win Game 6 on Sunday (May 16), setting up a 7th and decding game at Target Center on Wednesday May 19.
