Gopher Baseball Team wins home opener
Matt Fornasiere delivered a double to right centerfield in the bottom of the 10th inning to drive home the winning run as the University of Minnesota baseball team (16-12) defeated South Dakota State (7-27) 3-2 in 10 innings on Wednesday, April 14 at Siebert Field. It was the Golden Gophers first game of the year at Siebert Field, where they went 19-4 in the 2003 season.
