Gopher Women Visit Twins
Wednesday April 7th, the five starters from the Gopher women's basketball team threw out the first pitch before the Twins 11-4 loss to Cleveland. The Gopher women chatted with Twins players and coaches before the game.Twins leftfielder Jacque Jones got hit by a pitch and Doug Mientkewicz was the only one to show any fire on this night as the Cleveland Indians finally win their first game of 2004. Just over 20, 000 fans were on hand as the Twins lost for the first time this season.
