Chaska wins boys Class 4A state championship

Led by future Gopher Spencer Tollackson, the Chaska Hawks won their first ever boys state basketball championship beating Burnsville in the title game 71-57. Tollackson, who led the Hawks in scoring all season, tossed in 13 in the title game. Point guard Jason Theis led the way with 21 points on 9 of 11 shooting for Chaska. Burnsville's Ryan Amoroso had 24 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort. Mankato West won the Class 3A title, Class 2A went to Braham while Russell Tyler Ruthton won the Class A championship.
