Timberwolves lose to Boston
Despite getting another double-double from Kevin Garnett (20 points and 14 rebounds), the Minnesota Timberwolves dropped their second straight home game as they were beaten by the Celtics at Target Center (Sunday March 7) 80-77. Wolves center Michael Olowakandi also put up his best numbers to date, grabbing 14 rebounds while chpping in 10 points and blocking 5 shots. The loss dropped Minnesota's record to 44-and-19 on the season and marked only the 3rd time all season that they had lost back to back games.
